Pizza ≠ fast food

When we first started dating, my boyfriend and I used to enjoy making pizza for dinner. We would buy the ready-made dough, some sauce, and various ingredients. It was a fun way to create dinner together! This past anniversary, we decided to make a more adventurous pie – inspired by an experimental pizza restaurant, we chose pesto, pears, goat cheese, and potatoes. I discovered that when making pizza at home, all the grease goes away! You put it in the oven for about 10 minutes and the toppings are all super healthy, which allows for a “fancy” pizza that is also good for you. I’m sure there are ways to make pizza at home just as “bad” as delivery pizza; however, it is much easier to discover how to get your craving for pizza filled in a nutritious style 🙂
