After going grocery shopping in our new city, I was inspired to make yummy dishes! My first meal for my sister and Nathan was spaghetti squash with a creamy chili sauce and shrimp. I love making spaghetti squash because it takes 40 minutes to bake then you just peel it out of the skin – it is delicious and healthier than actual pasta 🙂
I have had the spaghetti squash recipe below from eatyourselfskinny.com for years! This time, instead of chili flakes, I used chili powder and I was worried it might end up too spicy for me (after a bunch of powder came out of the lid into the shrimp sauce :o) However, it turned out perfect because most of the spice cooked off and was mellowed down with the yogurt base.
Great recipe, thanks for sharing!!
Sounds like you are settling into your new digs. The cuisine sounds 😋

It is similar to the Asian noodle dish with shrimp and Serrano peppers that I made (but with spaghetti squash)
