This AM feels hazy

Already been up for 4 hours 

And it’s only 8

Finally on board.

Already struggling to sit still 

Probably nerves or excitement building up.

Listening to fun songs while eating snacks

But counting the minutes comes to mind.

Small start to the bigger journey 

Meeting sis on the other side of country 

Then zooming off to the other side of world

To celebrate my mama with her fam!

Needed this Italy break mentally,

Yet still have worries for my studies.

Know I have to focus some days

With the views of the gorgeous villa

And relaxation distractions in my backyard
