Baffled by this bed (267/365) #blogaday

Mom and dad came home with this round thing that they say is a bed for me. I don’t really understand why

I have many places to sleep (the couch, two different blankies, outside on the balcony, and on the pillows next to their heads). Now why would I need my own bed?
