March SOL #10: Daylight brings darkness (Day 65/365)

My alarm goes off.

It’s pitch black out the window.

Even Stu quietly meows,

unsure if it’s actually time to eat.

His usual bellowing yowl confused by the lack of sunlight.

Daylight savings time has shifted my regular 6am wakings into what seems like middle of the evening.

My brain is still adjusting that’s for sure…

  1. I feel your struggles! We finally have spring break this week instead of last week, so I have 5 more days to practice getting up earlier for those days I am subbing.

But I WANT it both ways – why can’t we split the middle between daily saving & standard time & quit changing back & forth? I think Stu would agree with me…

  2. It is so hard to adjust twice a year every year… I just wish they would pick a time and LEAVE IT ALONE! Although… I do prefer fall when we get an “extra” hour of sleep instead of losing one.
