I gave the girl I used to nanny a book yesterday and she had the best reaction!

It is written by favorite artist Corinne Bailey Rae and mentions songs throughout as the young girl character experiences her aunt’s record collection.

We played snippets of each song so she could understand the moods mentioned and get a sense of the different styles.

She was obsessed with the last song, “put your records on,” which makes me really happy 🙂 She wanted it on repeat and wouldn’t stop singing for about 30 minutes!

It’s just of the table since I don’t want to share her face, and she would stop singing from being shy anyway 😆

I can’t believe how grown up she is now 🙂 I was her nanny from when she was 9 months old to about 4 years old. Her parents are very big on having me in her life so I still babysit every so often and am always invited to her birthdays.
