We were assigned bacteria in class to test and find out what they are by the end

Mine became obvious today!

Our professor mentioned that only E.coli turns metallic green on this one type of growing material (called MSA media).

We also tested actual E.coli on a different medium as well as our unknown bacteria on the same medium. And mine matched!

It is cool to figure it out 🙂 He said we got to be investigators like CSI which I was so excited about!
