Dwelling on the downfall (Day 295/365)

Why do brains focus on defeat so much?

You relive the failures

Over and over

Trying to fix the error

Knowing nothing can be done

I thought I would perform so well,

But timed exams are stressful –

And I guess my mind goes blank for some parts.

It’s hard not to feel embarrassed because I already work in the field so should be acing the in-person tests, showing off my skills.

I do know what I’m doing. It’s the environment that is setting me off.

Stick with your gut instinct as it’s often been right!
