Over the weekend, I cannot believe that maliaspassport.com nominated me for the Blogger Recognition Award!! I have seen this pop up in a few of the Facebook blog groups, but never thought my blog would be picked. Thank you so much Malia!! I love following your travel adventures 🙂
For those who aren’t aware, there are “rules” to follow after you have been nominated:
Thank the blogger who nominated you and provide the link to their blog.
Write a post to show your award.
Give a brief story of how your blog started.
Give two pieces of advice to new bloggers.
Select 15 other bloggers you want to give this award to.
Comment on each blog and let them know you have nominated them and provide the link to the post you created.
How did Hannah’s Happenings start?
I joined the blogging world during grad school for teaching, because I planned to make a class website for my future school career and wanted some practice on designing. After a few years without blogging, I realized I missed having that digital scrapbook of my life! And I love writing and sharing pictures 🙂 I decided to create Hannah’s Happenings as a more general blog on the things I love (teaching, my cat Patches, music, eating and cooking food, working out, and thinking about life). I am so glad that my blog is slowly growing a following.
Don’t think too much about what you want your blog focus to be. Write about whatever you love, and people will read it! You can also edit your blog once it is published, so just get your ideas on “paper” and let it grow.
Join Facebook groups (like Blog Life, Blogging Newbies, etc) – they have daily or weekly comment exchanges and this really helps your blog be seen as well as allowing you to find some bloggers you connect with!
(These are blogs that I read daily and often “like” their posts)
