Who is Hannah really?
A blogger?
I love to share my thoughts online for you all! It is a way of expressing myself and it really makes me happy 🙂 I try to show my more creative side through strange poems or pops of color. Since I started writing a blog to document my grad school experience, my brain has been wanting more of the spark. I started a blog at my preschool job after grad school, as well as a podcast review blog; however, this one is a great fit. I am very glad that I get to write as often as I want and there is a digital library of it all right here.
Music-lover?
Definitely a major factor! As I am writing this post, I have my music on shuffle – there is such a wide variety of songs that I enjoy (from more eclectic Indie to electronic, and many in between). It focuses me towards many different mindsets. Music helps perk me up on my morning drive, keep me sane after a stressful day, channel tough feelings, and lets me dance out loose energy. I have music in the background most of the time, when I’m not watching a show. Without music, the world would be silent…
and Nathan wouldn’t have a career 😮
Teacher?
The students and coworkers at my school truly make me happy – sure it is tough at times, but there is tons of laughing from the bubbly energy of the kids while the support team of the staff listen intently and advise. Wait, I should start blogging about teaching more..?! But it is hard to dive deep into my work in posts because I am trying to relax when I come home – I can focus on certain student personas, or discuss lessons and how I am growing as a teacher, or the different experiences my closer friends are having, or go back to finding great teacher tools (from Pinterest or teacherspayteachers) and share them like I did on my grad school blog. THE JUICES ARE FLOWING!!
Cat lady?
Patches is my little old man. I am so lucky that we found each other at the shelter that night 🙂 It was meant to be – I went for a middle aged kitty, but they were all sleeping and he reached his paw out to grab me by the heart strings. He has been my fluffy companion for 2 years now, and he is the best! He has an amazing personality and cuddles up with me at night which keeps me happy before bed. Pappy is my main man made of fur.
What are the main components that make up who you are? Feel free to comment below, would love to hear!
I’m happy Patches chose you as well….the cheetah enjoys sleeping on me during the cold months,he lies on me like I’m a heating pad, then crawls down and sleeps behind my knees. Cats are the best!

What a great way to get to know you. Loved this post. What makes me me? I think it’s the love I give. I’m a hopeless romantic and I truly cherish the love that I was fortunate to find. I’m a loyal person who tries to help and encourage those I love and I don’t expect anything in return. And I’m a creative person so I feel lost without some creative project on the go. It’s what fuels me … besides love ❤️

Awwww Patches is adorable! As a fellow cat lady I can attest to the joy late night cat cuddles brings. Except when it turns into attempted murder by suffocation hahaha

I’m glad that you’ve realised so many things that are integral to your personality and your livelihood. It’s really comforting to have a good idea of who you are and how you fit into the world. If I had to choose the main parts of who I am it would be this: dog lover, traveller, writer, someone who lives with chronic mental illness, and a rape survivor. Those last two sound a bit grim but they give me a sense of community (usually with other women) and give me focus for championing the cause of reducing stigma around these issues 🙂

Let’s see, I am a traveler, a problem solver (I love solving puzzles and I am very good at managing difficult business projects), a sci-fi reader, a gamer, a bird watcher, and a guinea pig lover. You’re right, so many possibilities for blogging 🙂

Nice meeting you Hannah! I’m a blogger too, but more of a dog lady! LOL! I love fiercely and since mediocrity does not exist in my vocab, I hate fiercely too! 😛

my cat is very dog-like (he speaks all the time, love treats, and comes running to the door when I come home)
