Most teachers dread coming back to school after Winter Break – the kids will be unfocused, chatty, and your own motivation is a goner. I can admit that I was nervous and exhausted when Tuesday came around.

But this week has been a treat! I taught great lessons with fun videos, engaged students, and gave a more interesting homework assignment! I teach grammar and wanted to involve home life in the schoolwork – we just learned about action verbs, so I had the class write what they did after school..they also love to share!

The rest of the week is smooth sailing as I am just helping my coteachers. Heading to sleep early so I can start being less exhausted!
