Toddler Time (3/31 MARCH SOLSC) #sol22

I am a nanny for a little girl (A) aged 2.

Below is a game we like to play and today had an unexpected ending:

A: “where is Hannah’s eyes?”

I point to my eyes.

A: “where is Hannah’s nose?“

I touch my nose.

A: “where is Hannah’s hands?“

I do a great jazz hands with wiggling fingers.

A: “where is Hannah’s chin?“

I rub my chin like I’m thinking really hard.

A: “where is Hannah’s belly?”

I touch it like a genie lamp.

A: “where is Hannah’s arm?“

I pat my arm.

A: “can I touch Hannah’s arm?“

Of course!

A: (while stroking my arm) “That’s really nice”

I burst out laughing while saying Thank you

  1. Kids are so funny! I have hairy arms, and many students have stroked my arms and asked me what’s wrong/why are they so hairy/they’re so soft. I like the way you used italics to show your actions in response to A’s questions.
