Orange you glad I didn’t say cat?
There has been many an orange cat in my life this past month! The little one roams the apartment complex, the second one is a coworkers I was watching, and the last one is our new cat who we adopted last week! Isn’t it crazy how they all are orange and white?!
Love how you used the pictures and humor to set up your slice! Almost a mystery to have the three calico tabbies in one location!

I looked and relooked at the pictures before reading the bottom of your blog because I was like “wait, those are different cats!!”.
That is crazy you’ve had so many orange cat experiences this month. However, they all look just happy to be around, so you must be doing something right!

I like the playfulness of this piece with the bonus pictures of the orange cats. Much better than the regular knock-knock joke. Clever!

All adorable! What is your sweet new kitty’s name?

We named him Hestu (after a character of a Zelda video game we play) – he is very sweet once he trusts you. He is more timid than patches was but worth the wait once he likes you 🙂

Nice name. I bet down the road he will be more open and less timid the more time he spends with you. I know my cat Clive was very timid when we brought him home from the shelter but two years later he is very friendly.
