As I came back from holiday time with family, there was one big thing missing.
My mind went back into routine mode of wanting to see you due to the regularity with post-Christmas vacation.
You were always there when we got home from spending Christmas away.
It has been some time now without you, and it’s getting easier but I definitely still have hard days.
I now have this little trinket which feels nice to have you with me every day (in a different way).

Ohhh, so hard. I feel this one. I’m sorry for this huge loss. Some absences are so big they’re a presence.
