2 years ago today (MARCH SOL 23/31) #sol25

I often like to see what I wrote on a past MARCH SOL when I either don’t have time or can’t think of something currently to write.

I looked back on the last MARCH SOL I participated in, which was in 2023, and discovered that I wrote about leaving my nannying job and starting to work full-time at the animal hospital.

I still get to see the kiddos on birthdays or nights when the parents want a date and I am available. I am glad I made the decision to pursue this career because I love the work I’m doing and now am furthering it with school!

Shifting Jobs Bring Some Sadness

  1. What a great idea to look at this date in past years to help think of something to write about today! It’s great to be able to look back on what you were feeling then and see how it all played out. Sounds like you made the right decision two years ago!

  2. Do you use your previous slices as inspiration for new ones on a regular basis? That seems like a really clever idea for slicing. Of course, I immediately flipped back to see what I sliced today, but two years ago, and discovered that I had actually missed that day! I had just gone back to school after a 2 1/2 week absence, first quarantining with my sick husband and son, who had covid for the first time, and then quarantining for myself when I caught covid for the first time. I had passed the quarantine period, but was still really sick, and holding on by my fingernails to make it all the way to spring break. On the whole, I much prefer this year!
