Loving to listen

Music is such a staple for my moods, memories, and mindfulness! Sometimes songs just stick and feel good to listen to 🙂

My August playlist is full of these three M’s I listed! Memories fade in of childhood family time as well as high school belting sessions with friends in my VW bug.

I love that these songs just fell into my lap on a shuffle of another playlist or hearing them on the radio for the first time in years.

I just went on a long walk after a very short-staffed busy day at work full of wrestling many dogs and cats (and only getting a 30 min lunch) – smiling and quietly singing along made my night so much better.

Now I feel relaxed and content to let my brain find the calm it needs to reset and enjoy my Sunday.

Below is the list for your listening enjoyment:

“Check yes Juliet” we the kings

“Stuck in the middle with you” Steelers wheel

“Hotline” the sylvers

“Funky chicken pt. 1” Winston groovy

“Machina” the darling fire

“The rebel path” P.T. Adamczyk

“Two tribes” Frankie goes to Hollywood

“The scheme” primus

“I’ve got a woman” ray Charles

“In the summertime” mungo Jerry

“Goldfinger” Shirley bassey

“Vancouver beatdown” zomboy

“One mint julep” ray charles

“Sweet hitchhiker” Creedence Clearwater Revival

“It was coming all along” Maggie Rogers
