Sucked in to a story (Day 13/365)

I love getting lost in something fun on my lunch breaks or while driving to work!

My man showed me his favorite audiobook when we first started dating and it was amazing 🙂

I’ve decided to listen to it again!

Now that I know where it’s going (it has elements of mystery), I can focus on the dialogue and vivid world building.

It’s sci-fi so allows me to be enveloped into a different universe, which is perfect for mundane tasks like driving and relaxing for 30 mins.

I highly recommend “Project Hail Mary” by Andy Weir for your listening!

  1. Personally, I loved that book, one of my favorites. There was only one detail that I wasn’t crazy about but he used it for narrative purposes so it was forgivable. I’m looking forward to the movie.

      1. I’ve spoken to another fan of the book who fears the same thing and was horrified by the casting choice. Personally, I don’t care much about acting quality. For me it was the story and the world building: a excellent combination of creativity and real science. That will survive any casting choices.
