Since Nathan is vegetarian, we have been to a few restaurants that cater to his needs. Many of them create delicious concoctions based on dishes that involve meat.
I have been getting bored of the same recipes that I rotate, so looked for some more on one of my favorite food blogs, Pinch of Yum. She had a delicious looking buffalo wings recipe, but instead of chicken wings..she uses cauliflower! I instantly added the ingredients to my shopping list – it sounds just like one of the dishes we love at some vegetarian places.
We made it this week and it was delicious, and super fun to do 🙂 The recipe involves the blender for an avocado crema and we made our own tangy sauce. It is also quite simple! You batter the cauliflower and bake in the oven then dip it in the sauce you picked, and bake again. You make a delicious avocado cream topping and put it all in a tortilla.
