Tunes from my Teens

“It’s a damn, cold night! Trying to figure out this life.”

“Girlfriends I’ve had plenty. None like Miss Mackenzie. That’s what I go to school for”

“Say you will, say you won’t. Say you’ll do what I don’t.”

I recently re-discovered a bunch of old songs from when I was in middle school and high school while browsing my Media Monkey library for music to add to my phone. It is fun being brought back to memories of myself belting these songs driving in my car, or with friends in our rooms! (images included HS graduation and younger)

Avril Lavigne‘s “I’m with you,” Busted‘s “What I go to school for,” and “Ce’st La Vie” by Bewitched were such fun anthems of my childhood. The Busted song is dirtier than I remember as a kid ha 😮

What are some songs you listened to in high school or middle school? I would love to hear in the comments 🙂

  1. I listened to a lot of different music – Journey, Bruce Springsteen, Lee Greenwood, The Oak Ridge Boys, Petra, Britt Small and Festival… my high school days were a long time ago. 🙂
