Tomorrow we are off to the zoo! The students were assigned an animal, and we will be doing research while we are there. BUT it is also going to be behind the scenes because one of our families knows people who work there 😮 We will be feeding giraffes and seeing the monkeys up close!! I am so excited to get up close and personal with the animals – I do have mixed feelings about zoos as a whole, but since it is there, I think it is a great way to educate children on wildlife and interact with these animals 🙂
