I have been working with baby Eva (pseudonym) for a week now 😮 And I noticed that my arms are using muscles that they haven’t been awakened in a long time!
I used to work at a daycare with the early toddlers and was carrying children bigger than Eva in a daily basis – but that was before we moved here (over 3 years ago).
My right arm especially is the one that feels it in my shoulders and upper arm because I am often using those muscles to support her while she stands or holding her on the right side of my body.
It will be good for me overall to gain more strength in my arms but right now, I am at the more painful stage of exercising ha.
It is amazing how a basic movement can awaken some of those sleeping muscles you forgot about. I know the PT I am doing right now is making me more aware of my shins actually.
