After our kitty Patches passed away last spring, I got triggered by a lot of my favorite songs. I basically stopped listening to anything except the radio (which usually doesn’t have songs by the artists I love).
Last night, we went to a concert for one of those artists named Maggie Rogers. When I was showing my husband some of her songs the night before, I started getting emotional because I missed this part of my life.
I’m really glad we went and heard some of my old faves again!

Music has magical powers Looks like you had a wonderful time

Hannah, wow! Music is such a powerful force in our lives, isn’t it? I’m so glad you got to reconnect with Maggie Rogers. I had a funny musical memory this week. My grandson was visiting us, so we played Raffi music all week, as we used to 30+ years ago with his mother. So many memories, stories, emotions came through, as we listened and sang along to those familiar songs.
