March SOL #2: Gravitated towards Gaming again (Day 57/365)

Checklist for the day:

Meet everyone in town

Water existing vegetables

Find items necessary to unlock the community center

Buy more seeds to grow

Explore the mines

Sell crops

Practice fishing

Chop wood and clear the grass in backyard

Pet my new dog to build a bond!

Playing Stardew Valley again is fun!

I discovered this relaxing world building computer game in 2020 and I decided to play it again from the beginning.

It is different this time because you can choose what type of area you setup your farm (river, forest, etc). And based on what tasks you do each day, new tasks are given to you – if you get better at fishing rather than exploring the mines, then you’ll be gifted more tools to help catch fish.

It will be a good way to relax, instead of watching TV after work and studying for classes.

    1. Haha I did want some confusion – until I said I was playing a game later in the post lol.

I kinda wish the tagline I put was “tasks for the day” rather than “rediscovering games is fun” to take away the hint (things to think for next post!)

  1. Relieved to learn that the to-do list is game related and not what’s on the actual agenda! While video games have not been my thing per se, I have enjoyed a number of puzzle challenges the fit the relaxation bill. Enjoy your fresh run of this captivating game.

  2. I have Stardew Valley, but haven’t delved too deep into it yet. I played a LOT of Animal Crossing on many different systems from Nintendo, but the latest one they did for the original Switch (not sure I want the Switch 2 – seems like lots of problems that I have heard about) – AC New Horizons is so addicting. I can easily see how Stardew Valley would be the same way. Got to love cozy games! Must admit I was hoping for AC until I hit mining and figured Stardew. 😀
