Simmer and steam (222/365) #blogaday

Tonight I used my new bamboo steamer, which I purchased from one of the stores that was going out of business near our apartment!

It was very simple and worked amazingly on the broccoli and cauliflower 😮

You fill both shelves (if you want) and place it in about two inches of boiling water – make sure the pan is wide enough so the steamer does not touch the edges. Steam for about 5-7 minutes, depending on what you are cooking.
