Yesterday the Zumba class I used to go to in-person that has been on zoom for months now announced that if you are fully vaccinated, you can come back to in person classes!
The instructor works in the healthcare field when she is not teaching dance classes so she got vaccinated a few weeks ago.
My friend who I used to go with on Saturday mornings works in childcare and got vaccinated about a month ago.
And I just finished getting vaccinated!
Of course we have to wait the two week period before I can be around other vaccinated people without masks – BUT I am so psyched to be dancing in the studio again next to my friend soon 😀

Yes zoom is still an option if you are not vaccinated – she is having a livestream from the studio for those at home still. Don’t worry!

Enjoy every moment. I am in awe of those who can follow the Zumba routines. I’ll stick to swimming. Two weeks will fly by, especially if you keep dancing (around the house).

Yes I will be doing via zoom until I am ready! I wish I can handle swimming or running as an exercise but dance has always been more of my thing

Yeah for you! I do miss the gym and exercise classes a LOT! I have been trying to be healthy and exercise at home, even doing burpees regularly, but look forward to the day I will be back in the gym!

This is wonderful news. I found a Zumba video online this morning and worked out to it. Felt good. Every little return to normalcy is an act of self-care.

I was so excited when I finally returned to the gym for in person Zumba for the first time since September. From June to September we held it outside but once the weather become cooler indoors we returned. It felt so good to be dancing around in person and getting pumped up.

I’m so happy to see a little “normalcy” returning to someone’s life. They are behind on the vaccines here. I am eligible now with my asthma, but I can’t get an appointment anyway… they book in about 5 to 10 minutes after they are posted. Maybe in April…
