Since my “go to” comfort shows involve baking, I have been observing new techniques. The latest craze is microwave eggless cakes.
I decided that I wanted something sweet and we didn’t have any candy at the time – so I looked up how to make a microwave mug cake! I’ve done them in pre-made packets in which you just add water and pour it in a mug. But from scratch didn’t seem too hard 🙂
Here is the recipe I used Microwave Chocolate Mug Cake – you put all the dry ingredients in first and stir them, then add the wet and stir again. Lastly, you microwave it for about 1 min 45 seconds.
I added chocolate chips the first time as well as whipped cream I colored red 😮 AND the second time I chopped up peppermint chocolate candies and put them in.
