I wish (MARCH SOL 12/31)

I wish I could tell you I’m not trying to be mean

I wish I could tell you I’m sorry in a way you would understand

I wish I could tell you that you don’t have to hide from me afterwards

I wish I could tell you if you sat still it would be over quicker

I wish I could tell you it will all be okay

I wish I could tell you I NEED to do this, don’t WANT to do this to you

I wish I could tell you this medicine helps you feel better

I wish you would let me hug and calm you down instead of running away when it’s done

  1. We both focused on our feline friends today. This is akin to the frustration a new parent feels when an infant is sick. The poor baby; hope recovery is quick with the medicine administered—for BOTH of you.

  2. I could have written this! After giving my lab ear drops for an ear infection. He hates them and always avoids me for at least an hour afterwards!
