Baking and frosting (176/365) #blogaday

After watching many baking shows recently, I wanted to take a stab at making buttercream frosting – I’ve only ever done more of a glaze icing (using powdered sugar, flavoring, and water). It was very step by step and delicious!

I was also in a baking mood but we didn’t have eggs in the house and I felt lazy, so I looked up an eggless carrot cake (I knew we had carrots and the other dry ingredients). It was very simple as well!

Both recipes are below and I will definitely use them again for baking 🙂

One side frosted by knife and one side by piping bag (still getting used to it haha!)
