Earlier this week, I was inspired to experiment with flavors while cooking!
I made stuffed bell peppers with corn, couscous, spinach, and peas. BUT I cooked each ingredient with different spices or sauces.
The corn was first boiled on the cob then cooked in butter and honey.
The spinach was sautéed with lemongrass powder.
The peas were first boiled in water then cooked in fig butter.
Lastly, the couscous was cooked then I mixed in flakes of basil.
I left the bell peppers raw and filled them with couscous and then the other ingredients on top. It was DE-LICIOUS!!

Oh, never thought to use honey with corn… hmmm?

It was delish! The corn said it was sweet (the cob had a mix of purple, white and yellow kernels)
