Some of the family signed up for cooking class which was very fun!
I’ve always wanted to be taught how to make pasta in Italy 🙂
It was a few hours and we made 2 types of pasta, chopped veggies, and tiramisu.
The instructor was very nice and clear with how to make everything.
We combined flour, olive oil and water to make the first pasta called “pici.” And then rolled it out in long noodles similar looking to spaghetti.

We then used prepped shredded potatoes and made gnocchi which was very cool!

The two pastas were surprisingly not that difficult, and I think I could replicate them at home – plus the prepping which is just shredding the potatoes and chopping veggies for a sauce.
Next came dessert…mmmm

This was a bit more complex with separating egg whites for a meringue and making a custard with the yolks – but I have baking and made meringue so not too complex either.
The instructor emailed us the recipes which were the same clear instructions she gave in person. It is like a discussion – so helpful!
Gee, you are making me hungry! Sounds like a fun class.
