Burdened by baking biscotti (311/365) #blogaday

Yesterday I ATTEMPTED to make biscotti.

Since the bread doesn’t have to prove, I thought it would be simple.

Oh how I was wrong haha!

At first my logs flattened out a ton and then were mostly raw after the allotted time so almost doubled it..

Then the bread wouldn’t cut so I ended up ripping it into pieces and baking it.

It was mostly burnt in the end :/

I’ve never made an enriched dough so it might have not been the right consistency or too much filling or oven temperature (many possible reasons).
